if you're a straight man, what is it aside from physical traits that you like about women?

They have a different way of looking at things due to differences in the way they experience life in society and I find it interesting to learn about perspectives different from my own. Besides that, I don’t like to generalize, but I like how they tend to be more in touch with their feelings and able to understand me when I express my own better than most men I express my feelings to. There are other things but those are the first that come to mind.

I love how humble and considerate they are

Maybe it’s personal preference but I like their mannerisms and dynamics as compared to me with my male friends. Example I feel attracted to women that act bubbly and high energy.

nurturing and the softness of them. more reserved you sre in my eyes the more attractive but not a push over

I just want someone that doesn’t have sensitivity when it comes to jokes. Even some of my male friends have a line that’s a little too close, and if my humor crosses it normally then I have to tread extra careful.

Someone who likes me for who I am, someone who either partakes in my hobbies or cares enough for me to listen about them. Someone who is forgiving, patient, and kind (but not to the degree of sycophancy).

That's great but doesn't answer my question. That's what you look for in a partner, nothing about what you said though is exclusive to women.

Why u ignoring my comment , secondly there is nothing exclusive to women that men aren’t also capable of that aren’t physical features. Both genders are human at the end of the day gang

yeah this also isn't exclusive to women, and its a very weird answer. you can generalize but preference it first and explain why you have that generalization

So because I say I like submissive women (which most straight women tend to be) somehow that’s problematic? Bffr. Explain to me differences that you think there are between the genders that are exclusive and not physical.

I'm glad you asked. I'm attracted to men because I'm attracted to their inner strength. When a man truly is in love with you it's not something that should be taken for granted. He listens to you, really listening not just hearing and not understanding. He'll put you first before anyone else. Do what it takes to protect you. Fight for your you. Believe in you, and uplift you. He's gentle and humble.

This is more specific but I like it when men are specifically good with children. I find that quality very attractive. I believe they approach care giving in a way that's different than women, and it's very attractive.

Yes it is? The way a man acts when he's in love is very different to the way a woman acts. My parents thought me that, and i'm seeing it in real time with my bf. Yes, loving someone is not exclusive to either gender but i'm specifically romantically attracted to the way men love. It's why I could never date a woman. I think they are gorgeous but i'm not romantically attracted to women.

If you are actively in the dating field and don't understand the difference between romantic and sexual attraction then you really should evaluate some things.

Interesting how everything you’re saying is just stuff you look for in a partner, but none of it is actually exclusive to men. I’d argue it’s far from the societal gender norm of them in fact.

Again i'm explaining my reasoning why im romantically attracted to men, it's not my fault you can't comprehend how what i'm saying differs between the two genders. Men in love act very differently than women in love. Which is why I asked this question bc i want to know what causes a man to fall in love with a woman. Outside of their physical beauty

to reply to ur original response its weird to because being emotionally intelligent should be a basis for every adult relationship romantic or not. same goes gender solidarity. I also don't know what you specifically mean by submissiveness. In the bedroom context or in day to day life. I also wouldn't see how that does apply to most straight women

Most people in general are not intelligent and by proxy most people are not scoring high on EQ. Generally speaking, women are more in touch with their emotions and what’s going on in their body and have the verbiage to communicate that. Socially, men aren’t taught those aspects. Gender solidarity = being a girls girl. That’s self explanatory. And submissive just means agreeable and willing to listen, bed or not. Idk how u don’t see it cuz ur probably the same. Generally ofc

Yes, the first example to come to my mind is its way more common for women to not enjoy intimacy until they are in love.
