Asexual (at least for me) is like being hungry (turned on) and seeing food (people) that looks like it would taste good but not being drawn to any one specific food. Then usually I end up trying one of the foods anyway and it doesn’t taste like what I want it to so I throw it out and then I get sad cause I still want to experience yummy tastes and the feeling of fullness without eating.

asexual means you don't experience sexual attraction to anyone, so someone's physical appearance does not sexually arouse you in any way. asexuals can still want and enjoy sex (still feels good even if you have no draw to your partner) but some don't and that's totally okay! aromantic means you don't experience romantic attraction, so no crushes or romantic love
