Yes 100%. I don’t commute but I live off campus and it’s extremely lonely— I only talk to my roommate most days :’)

also a commuter student, and don’t have campus friends. but i just remind myself i commute then get to leave with no obligation to speak to anyone- literally show up leave then get shit done without worry. i also tend to feel lonely sometimes but also just be trying to survive college so i can live without college friends if it means im getting that degree 😭
