Ok gurl I got you idk how much time you have until ur flight but here are my life hacks 1. Have a distracting show to entertain you - preferably one you’ve never watched before or a new season to keep your mind distracted 2. Sour candy - my pick for ultimate shock factor is sweet tarts 3. The book as pictured - seriously a game changer 4. Take off and landing can be especially anxiety inducing make sure you are stimulating your mind in as many ways as possible to distract you ….

… it will only put new thoughts into your head 8. Last and final if all else fails and shit hits the fan try to remember that many pilots do these trips multiple times a day and look to the flight attendants see how they’re calm? That’s a good sign!

Hii. I’m not sure if we get anxious on different levels, but what helped me was just keeping my mouth busy. Chewing gum or just eating small snacks that I LOVE. I’d try to get distracted. Hope you have a safe flight!

I’m having really bad anticipatory anxiety about getting on a plane in a day and it’s not even a long flight. I know the anticipation is worse than the actual flight but I feel it regardless and it’s awful

… for me this looks like watching a show/ playing music, eating sour candy/chewing gum, and doodling on some paper 5. Make sure to bring a comfort item ex: childhood stuffed animal, blankie, or even a rock, anything that brings you familiarity 6. Try to make yourself as comfortable as possible imagine your on a flight in a movie how would you act? 7. And this is ONLY if you are comfortable and confident with out it but don’t listen to the safety instructions (I blast music in my headphones)

Of course! I know what it’s like even as someone who has traveled a bit I still have extreme flight anxiety but usually I can work with my brain to ease it a little bit so hopefully so can you!!

Exactlyy sour candies or mints help me so much. Anything sour is a game changer
