It feels like their respect for me goes down as the friendship progresses. I always tell them if I do something to upset them they can tell me to avoid all of this passive aggressive bullshit and I trust that they would so I really dk what it is

Bring it up. You’ll gain respect for asking not to be treated like a piece of shit. If they respond negatively, leave. Know your worth.
