Real asf but I’ve had roommates that just pity invited me most of the time until they just stopped altogether and tbh living alone after that (x2 with different ppl) was the best decision

Yeah, don’t mix friends and roommates, most of the time it doesn’t work well (there are exceptions). Get out and get involved in some clubs and talk to people (unless they are drunk and at a football game 😅).
