Hey everyone I just joined this chat I just wanted to ask if you think it’s unfair if my college is denying my ESA cat when I have written permission from a therapist

Yeah that violates the FHA, ask if they need a specific template filled out from your doctor and if they don’t have a template and still refuse then threaten legal action even if you don’t have lawyer money

ESAs don't have the same protections as service animals, so it might depend on your state and what their laws are

ESAs don’t have public access rights but you do still have the right to have one in the place you’re living, including dorms. This is for all states and is covered by the fair housing act.
