Bro I thought I was dying the whole first two weeks I was on Zoloft. I experienced almost EVERY side effect 😭 But now my anxiety is gone and my quality of life has improved 100%

It’s suppose to in the beginning. Give it 8 weeks.

My psychiatrist told me to take it at night which helps with the exhaustion

It took me about 3 weeks of unbearable fatigue to actually feel the benefits of it! Hang in there!

The beginning is always a doozy, but keep going I swear you will feel better in the next coming weeks. I know it sounds like a lot but you have to remember our bodies need time to adjust 🙏 once you hit 4 months and you are still tired, that's when you should reach out to your psychiatrist to try a different medication.

You gotta keep pushing dude, the first two-three weeks aren’t great, and then one day you’ll realize the anxiety you had before isn’t there. Zoloft changed my life❤️

Or any medication that isn’t causing a serious side effect or reaction

That’s something to look forward too. Something my psychiatrist said was that it’s not a drug to stay on long term. I’m in therapy, and I journal and go to the gym regularly. So now idk 🤷‍♀️ if it helps me long term I don’t see why not to stay on it. Unless I am exhausted all the time

I hope so for me, my brother has been on it for a long time maybe 6 months to a year now? He stopped going to the gym because he’s just so exhausted. His anxiety and depression is better but he barely has energy for anything anymore. Could be his job too tho. Guess we wait and see for me.

See that’s what I thought. Most head meds take 1-2 months to really see if they work or not. My psychiatrist said 50mg (1 pill) for 1 week and then by week two 1.5 pills. I was so confused by that cause if I’m good at 50mg then I don’t think I’d need more. And I feel I should wait the 8 weeks to know for sure if I need a higher dose.

😅 that’s how I felt on Prozac, I also had excessive yawning. I just didn’t care. So yeah it worked but it made me not care about anything. I hope Zoloft treats me better.
