I’ve started packing my schedule full so I don’t have too much time to think anymore. I workout, I read, I doom scroll, I go shopping alone a lot (it’s probably an issue at this point) but I never stop bc then I’ll never have time to think for too long

So it may seem strange but my panic disorder is exactly the same, I started fixing my sleep schedule but the thoughts kept racing. The one thing that kickstarted my path to better sleep was legit sleeping with sticky notes and a pen. I wrote everything down that I was stressed about or had on my mind so that I had somewhere else for it to stay. Hope that can help you out as well!!

I write down my thoughts and turn to faith. I pray for my anxiety to be resolved and ask for help falling asleep. It helps to know that my faith encourages waking up early but also resting as it is a gift. It’s very niche but just wanted to share❤️

progressive muscle relaxation helps me focus on something else and it engages your whole body

OOOOO I know this one. Close your eyes and picture sitting in the room with that situation, and there’s a door in the room that’s bright and colorful- just beautiful. Watch yourself walk through the door and picture what would be inside (all your favorite things) decorate the room and add activities, you could dive into the activities like painting and picture it all. If the problem comes into the room then picture the door again and repeat with decor
