Your fingers look…gregarious? They’re like super friendly and well-adjusted?

I do but weirdly it’s on my head. It sounds bad and it is bad. It usually gets worse depending on my anxiety so rn it’s lowkey bad. Idk if anyone else relates but it’s a pain in the ass

I have this problem too, I picked up crochet as another way to keep my hands busy and it’s worked pretty well. Not only does it keep my hands from picking but I can take it pretty much anywhere and if I do pick it hurts to crochet which is even more of an incentive to try and stop.

that’s real :( my dad js started balding bc of age lmaoao is it trichotilomania? i had tjis for a few years as well, i dont even remember how i stopped honestly. i think i just started prioritizing general hair care much more so id be less tempted to pluck my pampered hair

It’s really similar to that actually. Basically what it’s like is u want to pick the scabs off ur head which u dont originally have but u eventually create from just scratching. It’s like a never ending cycle. U scratch an itchy spot too much, it scabs, u pick the scab, the scabs grow back but worse. Yeah when I prioritized hair care more it definitely stopped and that was like two months ago so I’m just trying to get back on it:( i wash my hair a lot too it’s just like a bad issue ive got sadly

omg :( tgis is the one my dad had; if im just itching my head a lil he goes HEY stop that you will LOSE your HAIR 😭 i genuinely wish i could give you more advice but im glad 2 hear the hair care method works for you a bit, it’s tough to do it consistently for the first months but once u get that routine down it feels kinda liberating honestly. also if you’re able to, maybe visit a dermatologist or even ask ur hairstylist if they recommend anything, they’d prob be the most qualified to help

Oh ur right! I should ask dermatologist or hairstylist. I will definitely ask around but for now try and stick to a routine. I try to wear hats when it’s rlly bad and usually that helps immensely but sometimes I just forget and it gets bad again. Thanks for the advice :))
