is it normal to split bc of anxiety? i keep on thinking my boyfriend is evil and despises me when he cant constantly be loving (ex. sometimes replying to texts late, not giving desired responses). and when he cant show love, i start thinking of him badly

Afaik no at least not directly, splitting is a common trauma response / attachment issue, rigid or black and white thinking is a common subconscious coping mechanism that people fall into to create a sense of control and predictability and understanding

Healing takes time and it can happen within relationships, not having relationships with people just isolates you and reduces triggers
