Hi everyone just wanted to give some suggestions on how I have been able to lower my anxiety as someone who’s had social anxiety and anxiety from starting new things/going new places their whole life. I started turning to faith and it has helped so much.

I don’t want to influence the faith you choose by saying this, but I want to say that I have been encouraged to give my anxiety to a higher power and believe that all the anxiety I have was never meant to be handled alone, especially when I am trying to control too many outcomes. The faith I found says that it is almost insulting to try to control everything as it is a supernatural ability that humans are not capable of. I have learned to accept this and realize that it was never my job

To know and control what’s others think of me, and that once I take the appropriate precautions to prevent my worries from happening I need to stop, because I did all that was humanly possible and now I need to have faith in my higher power. Just hope that this sparks some interest in exploring faith as it has helped me so much as someone who never grew up with faith in their household.
