Then go alone. Don’t give up life experiences you want just because you’re lacking in close friends currently

This ^^^^ I went to see the backrooms alone (first time going to the movies alone) and it was actually a better experience than going with someone else imo. The fear of seeming weird goes away once you realize nobody cares. If it helps, go during a weekday when it’s emptier
