Anticipatory grief anyone? Just realized this is a thing. A thing I’ve been doing my entire life. A thing that ruins good things in my life. Idk how to stop it.Good things come and go but they always come. When something good goes, plan ahead to take allllll the necessary time to grieve, but only after it goes. There’s no way to eliminate grief entirely, but the way you process it makes a WORLD of difference. No matter how difficult it is, always remember that good things will continue to come into your life
Someone tried to DM me from this post but when I tried to reply it said “chat ID not found,” if you wanted to talk (in a strictly non-sexual way (sorry I get too many DMs from creeps so I had to add the disclaimer)), if you wanna talk I’m here. If it still doesn’t work, I’m Corn_the_cannibal and I’m the mod of the rock music sub, please find me there and DM me. I hope you’re doing okay, whoever/wherever you are 🫶🫶🫶
Your brain constantly makes you sad thinking about how you’ll lose someone you love and care for. At least for me. And my imagination is strong so it’s highly realistic in my head and I will begin to sob. Really makes your life hell. Rather than enjoy the good moments for what it is, you think about the future that might not end how you think. For me I also tend to try to control people’s choices and be overly protective and worry about their safety because of the scenarios I think up.
