There’s so much depth with the world building and the characters It gets so much better Granted I enjoyed the early episodes too but it can take more to grab others

It’s insane and there are parts even before where I’m at right now that are deep. Especially characters backstories and the tragedies they went through. You are about to experience something amazing

Yes seriously like you think it’s just goofy kinda with some action at first but no it covers a lot of legit topics in its own way for one and so many characters have full backgrounds it’s balanced and it’s comical of course but it has a lot of heart wrenching points too

Oh yea… like it’s just the deep meanings behind things. Like characters won’t just get killed off all the time like AOT but you grow so close to them with their stories you feel their emotions as well

You’re at syrup village. In my opinion syrup village (like ep 9-18) is the most boring part of East Blue which is also kinda slow. That being said, yes, it gets so much better. You’re just at the intro which is kinda slow and setting up characters. You’ll start to like it more soon, but it’s really going to be 2 arcs back to back that come with episodes 229-312 that will turn you from a casual enjoyer to hardcore fan, and the peak doesnt stop there.

yea i liked the story of how kaya’s butler was actually captain kuro and he wanted to kill her but before that with luffy and captain buggy fighting was so slow😭 im really liking the dynamic with luffy zoro and nami tho i def enjoy their characters

Yeah! You’re going to love the crew + all the members that join. The characters manage to stay likeable the entire show it’s pretty incredible tbh
