they have a really solid system in place for preventing scams without having to rely on a third-party buying & selling app, so the lack of extra fees means people can afford to sell things for cheaper lowkey can’t stand the social climate throughout most of reddit but i signed up just for MangaSwap and it’s been So worth it

take what, the money? the rule is that all transactions over there use PayPal Goods & Services by default, which is specifically set up to enable refunds in the case that something shady occurs. the mods are also super vigilant and keep a publicly-accessible database of info related to attempted scammers—the rules are strict & complicated for a reason. it’s not really any higher-risk than ordering via eBay
