Ik I’m hella late to JJK season three but I’m confused on the confusion of the culling games fr. It’s just a normal Battle Royale basically but you’re able to add rules if you have enough points. Maybe I missed something but it’s pretty straightforward

It’s cause jjk fans don’t have the long enough attention span to understand the rules. They’re real simple; I feel bad for them if they try to grasp any complex games like chess

Gotta be cuz I was watching it with my younger brother and he didn’t understand ANYTHING going on even tho they flat out tell you wtf is happening. He only locked in during the fights 😔 But yeah I’m invested, only on ep 8

Ty then for keeping my spirits high. But yeah i don’t understand the confusion of the culling games it’s basically just Fortnite without guns and a point system that allows you too add more rules as long as it doesn’t stop the game (correct me if I’m wrong).

I don’t even think it’s just JJK fans it’s people that just don’t pay attention in general or can’t understand basic media literacy. Which is sadly in all forms of media, not just JJK. It makes it worse because JJK is an action show so people get pissy when there isn’t flashing lights and punches 24/7

I think that it’s an issue that is commonly found in jjk fans. Like HxH fans had that stereotype too, but jjk fans just built that reputation themselves along with their spoiling habits. I agree that it’s an issue with general media these days to be flashy and I can’t really even watch more recent anime; I stick to the 2000s and 2010s because it’s less flashy and has better animation.

I’m an avid reader and love dense media, the rules episodes was horrendously done. You shouldn’t have to exposition dump that poorly to start an arc, it wasn’t well executed.

That’s literally what every anime does. They randomly dump exposition on important things, but I still don’t even think the exposition was bad. They literally have an entire episode explaining the rules and they continue to re-explain the rules during the season so you don’t forget. the rules are actually pretty simple when you just chill. It’s a battle royale with a point system basically that is being held so we all don’t fucking get cooked by the Villain. That’s the gist fr

But almost all anime when there’s a fight happening or a big arc where there’s a tournament or rules involved just exposition dump. They do it when explaining abilities, they do it when explaining the world usually, etc etc. I’m not hating on you I’m just being honest Anime loves explaining shit even if it doesn’t make sense, they WILL explain it
