Can someone explain the appeal of Dan da Dan to me? I tried to watch the first season and made it half way through just creeps me out how inappropriately they talk about the teenagers. Especially the boy why are his genitals a constant plot line he’s 15

I mean I like it because it reminds me of BEING a teenager. Okarun and Momo are very similar to my partner and I at that age, it’s kinda nostalgic for me. Plus I think the way they explain the intersection of aliens/ghosts is really interesting. But if it’s not for you it’s not for you, that’s alright.

I mean it can be good and still not be to your taste, nothing wrong with that. If I remember correctly the lewd jokes lessen as time goes on and things get more serious, but they don’t go away entirely. If you’re not vibing with it halfway through season 1 I think it’s probably just not for you.

That true may just not be my thing. Thanks for giving me insight on it and being nice about it. The animation is so cool and the fight scenes are awesome it’s the lewd jokes that are just a little too much for me sometimes. Maybe I’ll give it another chance down the road 🤷‍♀️
