I have been watching anime for a long time so I am very aware of the sexualization of minor characters. I find it odd you see nothing wrong with the slow pans and close up shots of a 15-17 year old's chest and butt, but whatever. Im on episode 23 of season 1. There isn't much sexualization, but just enough to leave a sour taste in my mouth

There isn’t much sexualization like u said. I am one to drop a show if there is too much sexualization however this is on the lesser end. I don’t recall the slow pans however I am on the new season. U said u can’t watch the show b/c of it. I find nothing wrong with their outfits tho.

I am very uncomfortable by it, but that's for me to deal with. I personally think it's a huge issue to sexualize children in any way even if it was only a few times, but you're allowed to have a different opinion i guess

Give me more examples of the episodes so I can rewatch it to see where ur coming from. Also most of anything written is written by adults. Others shows is high school shows like euphoria, any Netflix show that has high schoolers have sex scenes and partying.

I watched that one and I assumed that wasn’t the one u was talking about so then I looked at the tsuaksa part. Adults are pretending to be younger aka the voice actor. No minor actual minor is being sexualized. U can’t say no but when it comes to those sex scenes it’s the same. I genuinely thought u wasn’t talking about the scene I watched when senku meet kohaku. Someone saying I like u b/c for saving them from a crushing tree😭

This has to be genuine rage bait. Go to 40 seconds before the end of episode 6 season 1. The full body scan of the girl for no reason. The show has multiple shots like this and only for the young girls

I was just trying to provide a single example that I can remember. I do not have an overly sexual mind, I am just a 22 year old woman that prefers to see children treated like children. If i need to make a full list of every incident in order for you to take this seriously, you don't actually care and aren't listening. Just because this one scene isn't enough for you doesn't mean my point isn't correct. I should not have to watch something that sexualizes minors for no real reason.

I’m a 21 year old woman who cares for actual children not the ones who are drawn and meant to be aged up. I want to see where u are coming from. This isn’t about having a correct point b/c at the end of the day it’s animated show. This particular show is limited on overly sexualizing children and shouldn’t be put in a so problematic category that it’s unwatchable when there are literal lolis in some other shows. U don’t have to watch it no one is forcing to.

Btw most of the animators are just picking up a paycheck not rlly their choice to animate it or not. Kohaku also isn’t real nor is she really depicted as a child due to the timing of the show set in a prehistoric time ish. Who said it’s ok to goon to drawings of children?
