I think part of it might just be how ppl express their opinions these days. I see a lot of ppl that will talk about their interests/opinions like they’re 100% the best ever and then shit on every other perspective even if they’re not really hating that hard

You’re absolutely right! I “dislike” some anime’s that I’ve seen but I don’t tell people who like them “you are wrong and have terrible taste” and “that show doesn’t deserve any awards”. The elitists I’m talking about just disagree with the masses and whine when shows like solo leveling or jjk win awards lol. Opinions are opinions, no one is wrong or right but they seem to think they are the only voices worth speaking on the subject.
