"Grown men" do not say shit like this. He's an insecure man-child who judges an entire medium as childish despite the extreme variations throughout the medium. He needs to become a man of culture. He doesn't have to like anime as a whole, but he should respect it.

One Piece gets so much better during Dressrosa and thereafter. Finished it earlier this month. Haven’t started new season yet 🙂‍↕️

I’m gonna poke two holes in this. Man of culture is just an ick phrase, he can be cultured, but like it’s absolutely his decision what his culture entails, however, as a man, he doesn’t need to respect the anime, but he does need to respect the things you like and are passionate about. Also anybody who calls themselves “a grown man” is a child in cosplay, cuz it just shouts, “I’m an AdULt”
