Personally think it’s actually really sweet your looking out for her definitely get her to watch stuff like HxH JJK etc just non fan servicey ones she can find out abt those on her own!

Uh I would still be weary of shounen anime cuz even the most like common tend to have varying levels of fanservice! There’s a few anime I’ve seen that are pretty safe I think Pokémon, Digimon, and Sailor Moon come first to mind, I think that Precure and Dragon Ball are also ok but I haven’t seen them personally so double check if you need to

It’s good you’re looking out for her. I’d think most romance anime is okay but def look out for obscenity but MHA should be good. Slice of life animes are good. Some isekai

Idk pretty much anything with like extra extra perversion is a no go. Shounen animes should be fine tho.

i recommend FMAB, and daemons of the shadow realm. i love dr stone too and its a great educational anime but the fan service got worse towards the ending. campfire cooking with my absurd skill is also great. i think demon slayer is ehh, idk how comfortable that would be. gachiakuta is pretty good!

On the topic of isekai, maybe a little bit later would be ok since most of them either A) have a lot of weird themes or B) have a lot of dark moments. Exhibit A would be Mushoku Tensei. Never let her watch that. Exhibit B would be Re:Zero. Pretty good show, but kinda gory at times

Yeah, I kinda wish a lot more were game ngl. I know the genre is known for its tropes, but it’d definitely be a breath of fresh air if someone wrote a good one without anything too goofy that takes you out of the story. It’s probably hard to get a more serious one to sell because of people’s expectations though, I suppose

Season 1 is solid but don’t let her see anymore! And if OPs actually reading solid romances for younger girls r def Fruits basket, Your lie in april(little sad) and Maborshi they r all innocent but still have a lil romance aspect definitely watch shows before u rec them to her tho just to be on the safe side of what u want her to watch

I would just stay away from early 2000s and 90s anime right now. To us we knew how those times were and we aren’t influenced by them now, but since she is so young i doubt you don’t want her seeing that. for example: naruto. is it a classic and just some of the things they say reminds me of that time lol. we gotta realize tho back then we def needed to be more woke. nowadays, people are too woke lol

On Crunchyroll everything has ratings. IMO anything 14+ should be fine (little edgy but you can be the cool older sibling), but 16+ is probably a little adult for what she should be watching if a parent walked in.
