Crazy first anime to show your mom
I made my mom watch MHA with me and she actually likes it? She thinks it’s good but not something she’d watch on her own. We just started s2 and her faves are Shoto, Izuku, Ochacho and Iida. She hates Bakugo and Mineta (as she should)

LMAO I’m the poster and we actually watched death note last summer! She wasn’t a fan because of what happened at the end of part 1 and the end of the series as a whole (don’t want to spoil just in case)

Lots of "moving parts" to keep up with, more than a little fanservice, and, well, it's a B tier anime imo

Like I would've picked FMAB or something else a little easier to digest for someone's first anime, let alone someone's mom haha

It’s funny you said FMAB then something easier to digest bc those are opposites

MHA does not have lots of moving parts bro there’s like maybe 3 factions the whole time 😭 there are plenty of popular irl franchises with significantly more going on

Oh well if it's not her first rodeo then this is a fine choice! Glad she likes it

I haven’t seen FMAB yet but I watched MHA already and while there are some fan service moments, they’re not the worst compared to other anime (ie fire force). Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but MHA doesn’t really have that many moving parts?

I mean FireForce is borderline soft core porn from what I've heard. MHA has a lot of fanservice imo without it detracting from the plot. An anime with "not very much fanservice, but not 0 fanservice" would be like, Code Geass, imo

Yeah the fan service made me drop Fire Force, it’s so bad. I’m rewatching MHA with her and we aren’t too far in yet but the fan service hasn’t been super bad yet. And I’ll check out Code Geass too! It’s been on my list for a while

I mean there are at least two characters who need their breasts exposed to use their powers, is that not weird to you
