This is going off another post, but it got me curious.
What was everyone’s first anime? Or the anime that got you set on watching more?
Mine was Tokyo Mew Mew (idk how I even found out about it 💀😂) and then Madoka Magica
As a kid, Pokémon, beyblade, bakugan, and dinosaur king
First real anime was death note

Sword art online and death note I watched simultaneously because they were recommended to me so strongly as not weird lol

Soul eater. I can’t remember what the actual second one was but the next one that I got really into was fairy tail

Death Note was my first. But I thought it was the exception and still assumed other anime were weird. But then AoT was the second and the one that really got me into anime.

I watched Pokémon religiously as a kid but never branched out until I watched cowboy bebop during covid, I genuinely do not remember why I started with that one lmao (it’s peak tho)

Got recommended HxH (loved it) and then I watched Vampire Knight and that really sealed the deal. It showed me that animes can be light and dark, romantic and intense, twisted and normal. Really just broke all the stereotypes that I had on anime
