Like there is SO MUCH WEIRD PREDATOR SHIT in made in abyss. 1) the scene in episode 1 about breaking a ruler off inside reg, 2) the weird nude scene, cuz why? And 3) the TOILET THAT LICKS YOU CLEAN, WTF. I still don’t know how this series made it onto TV, like moshoku tensi is predatory, but to a wildly lesser degree. I like to think Mangakas take inspiration from life like writing a journal, if that’s the case, they both got some deep seated issues they gotta work through.
