I stand shows that dial down the gore. Like, if a manga is crazy bloody then don’t make an anime if it isn’t gorey. The directors change the mood of the story when they tamper with the violence

Yes. I am of a contrasting opinion that the manga is better. The movie was good. Solid adaptation. But it misses a lot of developments from the manga. The manga has arcs that didn’t come up at all in the movie and there’s a more complete story in the manga as a result.

Characters who you see never get their karma or change in the movie do in the manga but the manga feels more realistic to how change looks and what someone’s inner thoughts would really be like for the main character. It’s definitely a more solid story like 5 said, but I love the gentleness and softness of the movie lol 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽
