I’m debating on selling glass painting but my problem is I don’t know how to get people to buy them😭 I’ve sold one but that’s just because my cousin’s boyfriend liked hers I made for Christmas and offered me $50

They are very good so I think getting the word out will be your biggest issue but there’s lots of options! Instagram, Etsy, and eBay are common ones. Etsy is probably the most accurate since you are creating them and it will be helpful if you aren’t really sure how to sell stuff. When you are more confident you can try making your own website or using Instagram so Etsy doesn’t take some of what you earn

If you’re gonna sell also figure out how you plan to ship, but I think there’s some places online/things online stores like Etsy do to help you and make it easier. Just something to especially think about with glass though

go to your local farmers market many do not require fees to sell well anything

Think I might do it through Depop if I start selling! It’s technically a clothing site but it has the lowest fees. And I don’t want to do it outside of a third party website unless I use like an anonymous Venmo. Now all I gotta do is figure out packaging 😅

Look up good techniques for wrapping glass. My thinking would be that you want filler in the box to absorb the shock of impacts, but also enough packing that it won’t be jostled around and will be secure within the box.

Well I just did a practice package. threw it down the stairs and at the wall a few times for good measure and it didn’t break 😂 so I might stay actually selling inbetween classes and my part time
