I mean not every anime protagonist is underage, I don’t buy merch of the characters who aren’t usually and if I do it’s never the sexualized forms of the characters

Hey I’m not supporting the picture, I’m supporting that not all anime watchers are pedophiles. 9 was insinuating that anyone with an anime sticker on their car would be a pedo. Anime isn’t specifically about underage kid characters. There are tons of animes focused on adults and some animes with underage kids aren’t sexualizing at all either. A lot of the anime community hate the sexualization of kids and actively hate that kind of theme in their shows.

Exactly like whenever I see it I’m like really can we not do this again:( especially when I see like body pillows or sexualized art of a character like nezuko or smth and its like idc that their drawings their still drawings of children

Literally! That’s another reason why I avoid all isekais because they can have the FILTHIEST themes. I feel bad for Nezuko enough cause the anime did her so dirty. Same with people shipping underage kids with adults. I hate it so much. Why can’t we just focus on the animation and story lines and character personalities?
