I think they’re doing great with the new season. Personally I’m a manga reader so I already know everything, but Japan is giving a lot of hate on the last episode with maki.

They’re blaming Americans for liking it like we made the damn episode. It’s a Japanese author criticizing conservative Japanese families. We just like seeing a woman get shit done.

Im pretty happy with how it going. Personally I kinda disliked the culling games arc because of how drawn out it is. Seeing mappa take some creative liberties definitely makes the arc an easier watch. I hope they don’t cave to the public’s opinion.

I agree. The culling games arc was not the greatest writing and pacing wise but I really like the creative liberties they took.

I’m curious how mappa is going to play their hand. Because tbh the culling games has pacing problems as you said but so does the showdown of shinjuku. The gojo and sukuna fight is amazing and the fights following immediately after are as well. The last 15 chapters or so definitely could’ve gotten compressed. I know gege was sick during the time but he was releasing half chapters for gods sake. Should’ve taken a break and got it right.
