Her hero costume is nun-like because it’s a contrast to her reality. Despite wanting to help people, she’s really a weapon for the government, only permitted to live to destroy. Instead of what she actually wants to do. After the events of the plot, she is a part time hero, and also dedicates her time to assisting hospitals. Her blood is highly radioactive, so she donates it for cancer research and treatment. 🥹

Thanks :) my health issues definitely play a huge part in my art. At this point I felt particularly isolated and scared. I was living an entirely different life than others throughout college. She’s doing better and thankfully I may be too in the near future.

oof, I empathize so hard with the part about being isolated and living a different life than your peers… it’s really demoralizing. but I think a lot of us learn valuable perspective from those experiences, and drawing inspiration from it is commendable too. I respect it! hang in there 🖤
