Pretty sure that some racists started being weird, leftists clocked it but drew a shitton more attention to a problem not a lot of people were coming across in the first place, the racists amplified what they were saying causing more to join them, and now its a mini culture war.

Honey the culture war was started by people who like pretending to be progressive saying that demons in the show are actually just representations of POC which is just dumb enough of a point to give shitty people voices which drew attention to the community and had people calling it racists since racist shitheads we’re the main defenders which made the racism rampant
