I think Aang from ATLA is one of the best “No Kill Rule” characters because he actually had an effective alternative to killing Ozai

Early on in the show he couldn’t control the avatar state Just pointing that out so he wasn’t using it to take it It was a consequence of it being triggered in some of those scenarios

But for serious tho I think one could argue that as he matured his views on violence/killing got stronger. Like I wouldn’t say that he’s NEVER killed anyone, but my intention is that when the time came to defeat Ozai he came up with a good alternative lol
