He doesn’t hate Goku. His pride prevents himself from showing positive emotions towards Goku but his words and actions show compassion towards him even if they sound harsh.

Why do we have to compare their wives? Also hotness is subjective and Vegeta has kids as well. Getting his ass kicked by that hick is the best thing that could’ve happened to him!
