I’m sorry I don’t understand you dub watchers. I know there’s variation but so often it sounds like porn acting or something equally horrible and then the subtitles don’t match the dub translation. It’s all so bad to me 😭

i think early 2000s and 90s anime has amazing dubs imo. ngl tho i’ve been mainly watching those so. i see what ya mean though. i mean it doesn’t sound like porn acting to me but lots of subs are…well weird. we can admit both sub and dub especially for girls can be sexualized. at the end of the day i think it depends what you’re watching

I listened in the trailer and cringed 💀 The only time I can watch dubs is if I don’t know they’re dubs. I accidentally watched an anime in English once back when I first started watching anime and the movie RRR is wonderful but it’s only on Netflix in Hindi not its original language. They’re pretty similar though so I feel like you don’t really miss much in that particular case.

I think darker than black’s dub is pretty nice. And that’s coming from a primarily sub watcher

yeah i agree, especially now adays. i mean more back to the early shows. i like dub / sub for different reasons.

Yeah I think it’s fine to like dubs but I’m just not a fan
