I mean I watch and enjoy Apothecary diaries and that show is all about information and just teaching you stuff half the time so it’s not a big deal to me to pay attention for one episode

I also watched apothecary diaries and loved it! I understood everything it explained! The issue with jjk s3 e3 is that, imo, it’s not done well. It’s too many unfamiliar concepts all at once thrown at you with no time to digest

I was in the literary industry for a while and consumed A LOT of media in that time. The jjk episode was the very definition of exposition dumping, it was laziness.
