This is why I’ll never listen if anyone tells me anime isn’t political. One Piece is all abt corruption on different levels, and I haven’t watched Promised Neverland but I know that BNHA also deals with government corruption and societal failings. I’m convinced anyone who watches or reads and doesn’t have any deeper takeaway is either really young or illiterate
