i mean it just seems kind of manipulative, but she might genuinely believe what she's saying. if she does, it's kind of sweet, esp since she does say at the end like "no pressure i just had to tell you!"

from the perspective of a christian with an increasingly controlling mother, i wish i got a text like this lowkey, but if she’s never gone to church before or isn’t generally religious otherwise, that’s where i’d question if it’s manipulation or not

I don’t think she’s being manipulative esp bc of what she said at the end. It doesn’t sound like she’ll hold it over your head or be upset with you at all if you don’t go work that job
