If you can’t communicate when there’s an issue, then you have no reason to be that upset. If you are a “friend” you should be able to communicate the issues that are bothering you rather than leaving someone guessing about what happened. (1/2)

(2/2) If you’re not willing to work on the friendship and you keep assuming people hate you when they don’t, there’s not much I can do from my side. This isn’t how friendships work, and makes people wonder if you ever liked them in the first place

What if you’ve tried bringing up the issue multiple times and said friends don’t respond to your call for help. And then they make plans with you but then only pursue them with each other?? Huh?

It looks like op is talking about people you want to stay friends with but in that case you can tell them that you find it rude and disrespectful how much they use slurs and don’t feel like you can be friends because of it

Is this about a specific person?

yes, if you are friends with someone you should be able to talk issues through that bother you about other people. completely cutting people off and making people guess what the issue are, it drives people crazy. how is anyone supposed to grow when they don’t know what they did wrong

i agree, if you don’t want to be around that type of person you dont have to, maybe have a conversation that they don’t share the same morals as you and you don’t want to be around that type of person. (up to you, idk ur situation) slurs are crazy to be saying, with situations like this idk if a conversation is super warranted

That doesn’t sound like friends #4, this sounds like the both ways thing op is talking about. You’re nta, your friends are.

if you’re trying to get help from your friends and they are clearly not responding to that, and then not following through with plans made with each other (but with others) then they are the asshole. if you dont want to be in this friendship anymore i (personally) would end it with a text explaining why you cannot entertain this “friendship” any longer
