That is such pick-me behavior on her end. I hope you don’t have to deal with that nonsense anymore, but I have a feeling that she’ll come crawling back the next time she gets her heart broken. Sometimes people forget that platonic and romantic relationships can be upkept all at once—it’s not that hard.

Not the ahole bc if she was a real friend she’d still talk to you even tho she’s in a relationship. Yes it may not be as often, but at least make an effort keep a connection with you as a friend. It rlly shows her colors tbh.

I was best friends with this person and we hung out all the time, slept in the same bed, cuddled, then they got a boyfriend and basically we only hung out when he was busy. Even after they broke up our friendship is not the same because I know now that I’m not very important to them.

I think the approach should've been different. You arent wrong for feeling distance at times like these but u cant just mandate she acts different. Its also normal for friends in relationships to not talk as frequently because of the relationship.

Yeah you are, when people meet someone and get into a relationship with them it takes up their time. A true friend wouldn’t care and would be happy for them. Speaks to your selfishness.
