i feel way less crazy now. i couldnt ask any of my friends because they all hate her and i wanted unbiased answers, but now ive gotten three similar answers from strangers who only know about this situation and dont have other situations to base their answers on so i feel more sane now

yea no don’t let her walk all over u she has some weird sense of entitlement for thinking it’s anyone else’s responsibility but her own and she can learn the hard way that her hand isn’t gonna be held thru life cause that’s absolutely wild

also real quick cause i read some more if she has such a problem with being late herself she can learn the bus schedule or get her ow car and license cause again that’s some real entitlement for her to think it’s also your responsibility to always get her to school and on time like im sorry but u are not her mother and just reading that pmo for u

thank you. i am still going to bereasonable with her of course but it helps to have some perspective outside of my own. i try never to bring her up with people because they do not like her and i feel like them disliking her so much and talking ab her how they do will skew how i feel

there is unfortunately way more to this regarding the car (which i got her, bad decision i know) she has it she just cant afford to get it fixed because she wont get a new job (government job, federally funded. they cut her hours down to 4-8 hours a WEEK) so i am feeling bitter about that but its also not really relevant

i had gotten her the car two years ago, it had been my grandpa’s and he passed it down to me and my brother when he died to sell and use the money for school. my dumb ass was dating her at the time (broke up Very shortly after this) and i paid my brother for his half ($1500) and gave it to her. i was doing most of the maintenance for about a year but i stopped bc 1. we were broken up anyway and 2. i could no longer afford it
