You gotta get presale or nothing, scalpers pick them up and that’s where those insane prices come from However fenway is a huge venue…whether you think it sucks or not, it’s gonna be expensive there

Like I can understand some artists being pricey like Ghost because their concerts are basically a heavy metal musical, but even their concerts are a bit too expensive!

…and just basically a real authentic, intimate, much more memorable experience. When you mass produce the experience and cram a million people into a giant sporting arena, that’s when those tickets should be discounted heavily since nobody is gonna gonna have a great view and you’d better bring your binoculars if you really even want to see the looks on the bands faces. And where is anybody finding thousands of people sho can actually afford $700 a ticket to some stupid stadium concert anyway?? How much fun can anybody have stuck in a place like that full of only a bunch of rich bastards who can afford to piss away that kind of money on a concert? Sounds pretty lame to me. yeah nosebleed last row seats were an average of 1,000 dollars per ticket. AT FENWAY! you’re like a freaking mile from the stage. i saw dan and shay, FGL, and morgan wallen for like 60 dollars in 2019

Shouldn’t it be LESS expensive at a venue like that which isn’t even designed for audio quality, first of all, because it’s a sporting stadium, and secondly I get it when a mom and pop little intimate club wants to charge a pretty penny for tickets to a concert there, because there’s gonna be a lot less tickets and a smaller capacity, and the experience is gonna be so much better when you’re that much closer to the stage and the whole thing is gonna feel totally up close and personal and…

Nope, big venues are more expensive almost always. Artists have to pay to use that space you know, may seem backward to us but it’s how it has always worked. Smaller venues are almost always slightly less expensive, a place like fenway being a very popular venue for concerts is going to be expensive. While there are laws against scalpers they don’t do a great job of mandating it. Prohibition happened and people found a way to still have alcohol 🤷‍♀️ Buy presale, idk what else to tell ya
