my friend cut me off bc a girl he JUST started talking to "convinced" him that i hate him and told him to unadd me on everything. i called him out and he apologized and wants to stay friends but idk. can someone look at our texts and Imk your thoughts??

chat idk bruh hes say that she “put ts in his head” and that she “corrupted him” and is apologizing and stuff but lowk deflecting and putting the blame on me/her, it lowk sounds like bs to me. plus he always called everyone guy i talked to manipulative and toxic and told me to cut them off yet both the girl hes talking to and him are doing the same things he called toxic… like bruh make it make sense

Yes but I would assume that happens a little later than what op described. No one off the blue tries to manipulate someone in that way so soon

Depending on the mental state of the victim, it can happen quick af. Especially for men and their female friends. First move is to cut them off from their other women friends, and society sees that as an acceptable “boundary” (not a boundary, a rule, and a harmful one) for girlfriends to make, and often it’ll then go from cutting them off from their male friends that call her out on that harmful behavior

u do realize that not every manipulator experience is the same as yours…right? like don’t be so dense and understand the nuance of OP’s situation and not yours. this is where his friend needs support the most.
