bro you have a final to study for, if your friend is doing this when you’re trying to get in the zone I’d recommend keeping him at a distance in the future or just don’t study w him period

it literally sounds like he doesn’t respect your need to study, he’s the asshole

Bruh just study somewhere else and all problems are solved. Group study sessions are never actually for studying unless y’all are studying for the same thing

1. I mentioned in the post that I had nowhere else to study since it was late (reserved study rooms close at 10pm here), I would study in my dorm room if it weren’t for the fact that my roommate was already asleep and I didn’t want to risk waking him up & where we studied was the only quiet spot on campus at the time that was available 2. That has never been an issue before and seems very counterintuitive??

1. I took the final an hour before I posted this (if the grammar seems off, I wrote the first part after the study session) and thankfully I was able to remember everything I studied for 2. He’s been on thin ice with me lately cs this is not the first time he’s screwed up in the past month or so, but Elliot always convinced me to just try to talk things out (I would, Marc would get defensive) 3. This was my first time studying with him (I usually study alone) so I had no idea he’d act like this

Definitely felt like it, like what we were doing was very different as far as intensity (the project he was working on in the mentioned post was a music history project while I was working on getting four chapters worth of my neuroscience textbook noted down) and I don’t think he understands how intense any college level stem work can be since he’s a music major and I’m a philosophy major while also taking three other stem classes since I’m trying to add a stem program as a second major
