i tip at sit-down restaurants btw!! i understand that those workers depend on tips, so of course i do!!

As someone who works in the same franchise that owns Subway, I totally get it. Like I would tip the people who are putting in extra effort (or, as a college student who goes to a small campus, I tip people I recognize from school because I know tuition is expensive), but most of those places are absolutely capable of giving a livable wage and just refuse to (as someone who’s already getting offered a raise after working at my job less than a month).
