I understand your frustration; you go out of your way to have a relationship, but you can’t expect things from people because they will never reciprocate. It gets to a point, and you shouldn’t even feel the need to ask this question. Don’t make it a big deal, you tried, and once you meet a friend who tries as much as you, it’ll be a beautiful and genuine relationship.

Bro it’s ur friend , your roommate. Not your boyfriend or girlfriend. They don’t owe you much except a good time and if you really need them to be there for u. Sometimes I give dry responses to my friends cause there ain’t much to talk about and we’re not gonna pull shit out of our asses to talk. If something needs to be said, it’ll be said. But I can go months without talking to my friends and I’ll go a couple months without seeing them, and when I do it’s like nothing changed.
