this is gonna sound stupid but AITA for taking my full hour of lunch 😭 I eat for like 20 mins and then sit for about 30 more. idk how long my co workers take but ones that went on lunch a get me were back before me

If you have a full hour for lunch I don’t think yta for taking the hour. Maybe they’d j rather hang out at their desks

it’s not a desk job, it’s a preschool. if it was a desk job I’d probably clock back in as soon as I finished eating bc they get to leave earlier if they take a shorter lunch

Oo in that case is there someone who can ask abt that? Might be like an unspoken rule you don’t take the full hour to get back to the kids

maybe. I’m not a teacher, just a TA and I only go on lunch while they eat and the teachers watch them. and then I watch term nap while the teachers eat

I did ask how long I had and she told me an hour and didn’t say anything about hurrying 😭 I’ll keep an eye on what my co workers do and adjust from there
