The only thing where I was asking if I might've been the asshole was for responding at all instead of blocking, there is NOT a debate on whether or not this man's message was normal. If you think what he said was okay you are not a safe person for women to be around.

Not responding is responding. If he can't understand that you're not interested after you don't text back after a few messages over the course of a few days, then he shouldn't be on dating apps.
