They’re acting like nothing wrong happened and it can be swept under the rug. Planning Halloween Party theme that I usually attend, sending dog pictures, etc. I haven’t told them that I’m not driving back to see them then. I would think they would realize that I’m not responding for a reason. Anyways, my mother said she wanted to visit me for my birthday. I’m debating on whether I should just continue to ignore her or tell her I have plans. Maybe ITA but I’m kind of done with how much I take.

I think it’s fair to be upset, but if she didn’t realize why immediately, she’s not going to realize later. Tell her what upset you and then work from there
