Potty training includes potty hygiene 👏👏👏 big part of why im planning to teach hs over pre ed or elementary, parents dont parent anymore

its true, parents dont parent anymore. they also dont do basic teaching at home anymore either. i taught at a very rural school last year and 75% of the 8 year olds in the class could not read a simple sentence

ong. I TAd preschool for some extra money for a semester and the parents were MISERABLE, Im talking 4/5 yos who still cant fluently make even basic sentences speech wise, not potty trained fully, horrible behavior and theyd constantly be pissed off they needed to be called to pick up their kids when they would hit each other, spit, scratch, what have you like- I can only do so much you need to discipline and teach AT HOME
