The way you phrased it here makes you sound like an AH overall, but wanting some space isn’t a bad thing. Don’t know anything about your relationship but it sounds like he wants to be near you and spend time with you.

If it’s your room, it’s your privacy and you have every right to kick him out. If you both own the house, that’s a little trickier; he doesn’t have to, and one could argue that you could choose to go on the walk instead, but I think he should respect your wishes as your SO
